Rudresh landed the prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship this past spring.
Pretty huge, congrats again Rudresh!
Had a blast working with Rudresh on his last album, Codebook. Check it out
Definitely pick up a copy if you havent already. Its one out of his two albums that made it on the top jazz albums of 2006 named by Village Voice and Jazztimes. The other album was a collaboration with Vijay Iyer, Raw Materials (savoy jazz).
